This well was donated by Samaritan Servants International. The water is FREE to all in this community.
“Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14
These are the words you will find written on a sign posted near the water well we endeavor to drill in the village of Zukwe next week. It will, for years to come, be a testimony of the love and compassion of our Lord and Savior.
I have often had the opportunity to sow the seed of the Gospel at a well in an African village. John chapter 4 becomes so very real when you get this opportunity. I wish every believer could spend the day at a well. I promise you, there will be tears of joy when that first water hits African soil in the village of Zukwe! I am confident there will be many more tears at the same well when the Water of Life is accepted. It is a marvelous thing!
