Goals For Samaritan Servants in 2020

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your support this past year. I appreciate your care and interest in our organization. I am constantly made more aware of my responsibility to meet the needs of so many around the globe - most often in places most I know little or nothing about. Just yesterday, I viewed a report of the desperate circumstances of the millions of displaced citizens of South Sudan. Many are without the most basic needs for life. Woman and children are living in deplorable conditions due to war, crime, disease, and corruption. There are 19,000 “boy-soldiers” who have been manipulated to rape and plunder communities trapped in the middle of this conflict. Countless young girls have survived the most awful violence and now are constantly at the brink of completely giving up on life. We can help them - I know we can. We must.

I am committed to making a difference in the lives of people who are completely forgotten. Delivering basic necessities with the love of Jesus Christ is a fundamental act of Christianity, yet, we fall so short in our efforts.

I am looking forward to a great year with many ideas and dreams for Samaritan Servants International, but I cannot do it all alone. Please, consider just a small gift of $25, $50, $100 or more before the year is gone. I assure you that your gift will make a real difference.

NEAR FUTURE PROJECTS

Mulobezi, Zambia

Buea, Cameroon

Juba, South Sudan

CONFIRMATION TRIPS

I would like to schedule at least 2 specific confirmation journeys. The purpose of these journeys will be to encourage and strengthen communities, national pastors and congregations. These journeys may consist of as few as just two men. There is an immediate need to continue relief efforts and support in Zimbabwe. SSI work in this region takes high priority.

SSI REPRESENTATIVES

Recruit evangelists and missionaries to represent SSI in the US. Their task would be to explain the SSI vision and methods, to screen volunteers, and to direct funds where needed the most.

NATIONAL SUPPORT

Identify nationals in the ministry worthy of limited support from US donors. Identify specific physical needs and create avenues to fund these needs.

IMPROVEMENT OF ONLINE PRESENCE

We will develop and launch a far more robust web platform allowing donors to give where they feel the Lord would have them most involved. Also, the web gallery will be greatly expanded so partners can view the work near and far.

Again, thank you for partnering with SSI in 2019 and thank you for considering one last donation before the year is out. Your gift will go directly towards food, water, shelter, and Bibles to a person or people in the regions listed above.

May you enjoy God’s most abundant blessings in 2020.

Warm regards,

Dos Rossouw

SSI Director
