Have you thought what it would be like to leave your home, move to another country for the purpose of ministry and live mostly unsupportedfrom any outside country? We are preparing to partner with a man who has been doing exactly that for 20 years!
Ps. Mario Genada and his family have presented ways that we, as the SSI Team, can come alongside and support him in his ministry.
Ps. Mario Genada has been ministering to the people of Zambia for over twenty years! He and his family have been faithful to preach the gospel and lead multiple discipleship classes each week. Due to drought and lack of resources, we at SSI are preparing to meet needs that Ps. Genada has communicated to us. We are excited to partner with a man that has been so faithful to love people and communicate the teachings of the Bible. We are currently preparing to leave for Project Zukwe. Many of you have partnered with us to make this project in Zimbabwe possible. As you pray and follow our updates, consider this next opportunity to make more SSI Projects possible with your donation. Below you will find the most recent prayer letter from Ps. Mario & Family.
Greetings in Jesus’ name!!! We always rejoice when opportunity like this is given by the Lord to be able to share with you of what the He is doing in Zambia. We constantly thank God for using you as our partner in reaching the Zambians for Christ. Thank you for your prayer and financial support. The months of September and October were full of blessings. Many souls got saved and baptized through the different ministries of the church. The exciting part is our village ministry outreaches. Twice a month I travel with some of our Bible school teachers and students to different villages and conduct Bible classes for our Pastors and the men and women that they are training for the ministry. Several churches bring their students to a central location and lodge or camp there for three days. Every evening we conduct an Evangelistic preaching and invite the nearby villages to come and hear the message. We have seen a lot of salvation at the end of every service. We later recommend them to the Pastors of that area for follow up and discipleship. The daily soul winning is an exciting ministry in our church, there are many people that come to our church premises every day and knock on our door just to share their problems and ask for help if there is any. I usually ask the staff or students to witness to them before we help them with their problem. We thank God many of them got saved; some even came to church and got baptized. What a joy to see them leave the place with the smile on their faces after receiving the greatest gift of God. Please do pray for Zambia, especially the southern and western parts which were badly hit by drought this year, it has affected so many people especially widows and orphans.
I would appreciate your prayers for our old vehicle to be fixed this week so that we can use it for our two village trips this November. We are trying to raise for several bags of mealiemeal (corn meal, their staple food) to help the pastors and feed them during our meeting. I usually don’t do this before, but drought this year has been quite harsh and food is scarce in the villages. They are struggling to survive till the next harvest season which is end of March. So if there’s any one that would love to purchase a bag of maize meal (K150=$11.50 each) for the pastors will be highly appreciated. - For His Glory, Ps. Mario & Family

Please begin praying about your part in this next SSI Project. We will be posting more details to the our website soon. God bless you and don't forget, #itsaboutpeople.
